Hello Friends,
On a cold evening 240 years ago, December 16th of 1773, a small band of patriots made history when they dumped three ships worth of valuable tea into the Boston Harbor.
The men which carried out this act, were comprised of a number of well-known patriots. Paul Revere, Patrick Henry, John Hancock, and Samuel Adams to name a few.
This protest against unfair taxation was one of the final incidents that led to the start of the Revolutionary War.
Below I am sharing resources to help teach about the Boston Tea Party. Enjoy!
