Random 5 on Friday - May 9

1) My daughter finally received a platinum award on CTC Math. I was so happy for her. She has been determined to earn one since she started the program. You can read our review of CTC Math HERE.

2) Our garden is doing great. We have already been able to pick green table onions to enjoy. Our cucumber plants however, have been taken over by cucumber beetles. My mother-in-law suggested we get some diatomaceous earth, so we did.

3) We put up a pool! We love it. My girls have been so motivated to finish their schoolwork, so they can go swim in it.

4)  I have a terrible sunburn. Aloe Vera has been wonderful. So wonderful, in fact, I have almost used it all. 

5) My daughters had a lesson about The Prodigal Son this week. They enjoyed it very much and completed a ton of activities to go along with the lesson.
