Just recently my husband cleaned our 55 gallon fish tank to prepare for use. While I was watching him, I was thinking of all the learning opportunities that can come from having an aquarium. I came up with the following list, resources and printables.

As a heads up, I was having a lot of trouble with the Virtual Fish Tank. It may be too old to work on newer computers... Google Chrome said it wouldn't support the shockwave player any more and tried it in Mozilla and it kept getting hung up and had a window pop up saying it was going to have issues playing.
