Yesterday I sat down with my daughters to do a little crafting.  We decided to make patriotic bird feeders. We loved them so much.

 I thought it would be a great idea to share this simple craft with all of you.

DIY Faberge Eggs

Hello Friends, We are still learning about Asia, with our attention on Russia. This has been such a fun unit.

This morning we made our own Faberge eggs. This was such a fun activity. My girls loved the hands-on crafting and designing of their own special eggs. I highly
recommend this activity for anyone teaching their children about Russia and the wonderful Faberge eggs.

Materials needed:

Plastic Eggs

glitter

jewels

stickers

markers

paint

hot glue gun

hot glue sticks

Have fun decorating the eggs and use extra caution with the hot glue gun. Enjoy!

My sweet daughter received the coolest gift from her daddy for her recent birthday. It's called Duck Tape Party and it is made by a company named ALEX Toys.  She has really enjoyed making some really neat items. Her favorite so far is her pretty purse. I also enjoyed spending some one on one time with her while we crafted away. Sweet Memories.

Crafts with Grandma!

To grandma's house we went! What a great day for more crafts. The girls and I headed out to my mother-in-laws after lunch this afternoon, My mil had a nifty idea to take tins and decorate them for a Christmas count down. It was to fun. She used her awesome Cricut to cut out shapes and numbers. I love that lil machine! I was amazed how easy it was to use. I gotta get me one of those for sure. I'm afraid someone would have to pull me away from the machine though, lol.
