Week 3 Challenge - Recipe Binder

Well I wasn't so sure I was going to do this challenge, but I did! Over at abowlfulloflemons is a challenge for a recipe binder. I'm not one to use recipes. I however will be more likely to use them, since I now have a nice binder to store them in. So I'm sure I will be calling the relatives and asking them for my fav food recipes. :) I get all kinds of excited when I complete a project, and this one is no different. Excited is probably an understatement. I have went around the house pulling all my recipes from different unorganized areas and placing them nicely in their new home.

The girls helped me with this one, and are now excited to pick up a few ingredients and make a couple dishes. I'm glad that they stepped in to help, and even more happy that they are eager to learn to cook. :) Awww.. This could be really, really nice.

I printed out some blank recipe pages, so I can add more later. These will come in handy when I call the "relatives" for those sought after dished we have during the holidays. I also used page protectors to insure the pages don't ended up with "food mess" all over them. Now, I hope that we do actually use this. It sure is pretty!

9 years!

I love my Husband! We communicate well, not all the time, but it is a work in progress that we are striving for. I have been married to him for 9 years this coming Sunday.  He is my high school sweetheart. Together we have three beautiful little girls, whom we cherish. At times, it has been rough, at others, wonderful. I couldn't imagine my life with any other.  He is my rock.  I wrote a poem, and I would like to share it.

 9 years has flown by
It's hard to imagine those years
 without you by my side
Your my rock, my best friend
my lover, my right hand man
Through time, our love still grows
A caring relationship to explore
Our life together gets better and better
And I will keep on loving you more and more.
Happy Anniversary Wayne!

Had to share......

Found a excellent printable site. I love it! It has so many great resources. Check it out! I have it bookmarked and use it weekly.

This site features thousands of worksheets as well as coloring pages, teacher resources, puzzles, and reading tips.  Hope you enjoy it, as much as I do.

Many Blessings!

Kitchen utensils!

Ok, so I think I'm obsessed with a couple blogs. :) That's ok though. My favorite right now is abowlfulloflemons.  I guess if you have been reading my blogs, you would have probably already guessed that. Well the site is excellent and today I saw some great pictures of how people store their utensils. I took a picture to show you how I store mine.  I did this a couple years back, and have really enjoyed it.

I know it's been a while since I have updated. Well it's because my hubby bought me a new computer! :) Yes! Such a sweetheart. I have spent the last couple days figuring it out. lol. Well I've been kinda stuck with Windows Xp. So, now I'm a Windows 7 user. I didn't like it at first, but hours later, I'm coming around. It's not bad, I suppose.

Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

Many Blessings,
Jennifer
