Stitches!

Okay, so my youngest daughter turned 5 last March. I guess in my family 5 isn't so kind. I'll elaborate on that.
When my oldest was 5 she ran through the backyard and stepped on an arrowhead resulting in stitches. When my middle daughter was 5 she fell and ripped her arm open on a chalkboard screw. Well you guessed it! Raylee is 5 now, and I was so hoping no stitch injuries would come upon her. Well, I was wrong. She slipped and fell the other day resulting in 3 stitches in her chin. She was so brave!  Well we go to the doctor tomorrow to have the stitches removed. I know she is super excited to have them gone. I really hope now we can learn to calm it down a bit, lol, yeah right!  The climbing, running, jumping, and spinning, is so fun when your a child, right!? Well I will pray for protection over them everyday as they play and explore new things.

I found a neat site to help teach children about their stitches. It is:

3rd Grade!

Time for an update!  Looked through the blog last night and wow so much has changed!

3rd grade, you have got to be kidding me! Seems just like yesterday I was starting Kindergarten with my oldest and now my youngest is already there. I ordered our curriculum for this year a couple months back and had slowly, but surely looked it all over. Sure there are things I love, but also a bunch we are not using. I will adjust things and make it work.  I figure since this is my 4th year homeschooling I should be pro soon, lol.  Well I have a lot to learn, yet.

Mess galore in this house lately. Books strung from one end of the house to the other. I tucked the girls in bed last night to find our brand new math book tucked nicely behind Breanna's pillow.  Yeah! like that one was gonna work :)  A little math in bed, perhaps, Nah don't think so. ;)  So far the dining room table has caught the brunt of the mess, but that's okay. I'm a bit to anal at times, but I'm learning to let go a bit more and understand that when homeschooling 3 kids a bit of chaos is all in all, probably, normal.

My girls loved this video! I thought I would share it for others to see. This little girl is so adorable!
We have tried the potato project many times, using our local resources!
